Paris 2024 Olympics volunteer uniform revealed

The uniform for the 45,000 volunteers at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games was revealed today at the Volunteer Convention held on Saturday 23 March at the Paris La Défense Arena in Nanterre. The Games will be held from 26 July to 11 August and for the Paralympics from 28 August to 8 September.

The Convention introduced “The Faces of the Games” poster by Jo di Bono and the slogan “Games Wide Open” to represent the aim to bring the Games to as many people as possible. The overall visual style is inspired by the Art Deco period of the 1924 Paris Olympics to mark its centenary.

The eco-friendly, unisex uniform, created by the French brand Decathlon, is inspired by the Art Deco period, notable for the colours green, white, and pink. The uniform will be available for collection from May 2024.

The uniform kit has 16 items:

  • Large sports bag
  • Pair of shoes
  • 4 socks
  • 2 long pants (that can be transformed into shorts)
  • 4 T-shirts
  • Windbreaker jacket
  • Sleeveless zip-up vest
  • Small waist bag/fanny pack
  • Bucket hat.
